After pulling 1200 ft, CN ES44DC 2237 pauses just short of the old crossing at Grandview Drive. Within the hour the rails will be gone and the excavator will fill in the crossing with gravel. July 7, 2009.

At first glance it looks like a well worn rail head, polished by daily freight trains, but on a second look the tie plates have been inverted with the spikes sticking out the wrong way and the rail a twisting, mangled and out of guage. This is the end for this rail in northern Ontario. Perhaps it will see use on a siding or spur somewhere else on the CN. July 7, 2009.

How would you like to have a camp here? Work Train 905 backs down the Kinghorn through Ishkibibble Beach. I am sure camp prices will go through the roof as soon as the track is lifted next spring. October 22, 2008
